When we first got to know Billie Van, it was as the coolest girl in class, blowing big pink
bubblegum bubbles and getting the whole gang to wear college jackets with her logo on the
back. She played in a band with both Mikhael Paskalev and Jonas Alaska, constantly touring
both domestically and internationally with them as well as her own band. A few years later,
she returned, this time as a retro diva with a king poodle, leopard faux fur coat, and blonde
movie star curls. With significant, emotional lyrics and airy productions that truly brought
modulation back. Critics gave her glowing reviews.
Next came the band project Hollywood, still together with her buddy Paskalev and now
husband Jonas Alaska. Then it went quiet again. But now, Billie is ready to make a comeback.
This time with less elaborate staging, more mature, yet still remarkable, both as a songwriter
and a performer. A crystal-clear voice with an updated sound.
Billie has always been a master at staging herself and creating a world around her music that
