Fundado en 1976 por Israel Romero y Rafael Orozco, se consolidó como referente del vallenato en Colombia y América Latina, definiendo el sonido romántico del género y expandiéndolo internacionalmente. Reconocido como “La Universidad del Vallenato”, impulsó figuras como Jean Carlos Centeno, Jorge Celedón y Alejandro Palacio. Ha recibido 5 nominaciones al Latin Grammy, destacando Grafiti de Amor (2006) y Por el mundo entero (2020).
Entre nueva música, giras y su 50 aniversario, el Binomio conecta pasado y presente del vallenato, manteniendo vigente su legado en la música latina.
