BJØRN BERGE (1968)
Bjørn Berge is a Norwegian musician known for his virtuosic guitar skills and powerful vocals. With an extensive discography and multiple Spellemann Awards, Berge has established himself as one of the leading voices in the international music scene. With his upcoming album (Jan’24) he takes his artistic expression to new heights.
For the past 20 years, he has made the whole of Europe his field of work, which has been countless travel days per years and he regularly visited several of the major rock, jazz, blues and guitar festivals around. His music is difficult to categorize as he combines several musical genres, but is mainly in the rock/blues segment interspersed with elements from e.g. folk and funk. He mostly performs his own material, but he also does his own interpretations and versions of songs from artists/bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Butler Trio, Joni Mitchell, T. Rex, Kylie M. and Motorhead!
