Blind Cassidy is a five-piece Americana/rock outfit based in Omaha, NE, blending the raw energy of 90's rock with the earthy feel of acoustic-driven storytelling. With a sound that’s both gritty and heartfelt, their music serves up crunchy guitar tones, powerful rhythms, and melodies that evoke both nostalgia and a fresh, modern twist. Starting in 2024, the band will be bringing their high-energy live performances to audiences around the region. With their highly anticipated debut album slated for release in 2025, Blind Cassidy is poised to introduce their unique blend of Americana-inspired rock to a wider audience, one song at a time.
Their debut album "Broken Places" releases on August 15th. Named after a line in Hemingway's "A Farewell to Arms" the album examines the broken places we pass through in our lives, and the ways in which we sink or swim when we get there. From anthemic fist-pumpers to more hushed, somber fare, from the frozen heartland to the beaches of Key West, listeners will be treated to a swirling journey that will hopefully stick around with those who are willing to sit with it for a little while.
