Blue Canopy is the moniker of Portland-based multi-instrumentalist, Alex Schiff. Schiff combines versatile songwriting chops and exuberant melodies to convey nostalgia as a force to move forward. Expertly weaving dream pop, psychedelic guitar passages and expansive electronic soundscapes, his output is beautifully introspective at a time where self-reflection is extremely crucial.
Formerly the keyboardist and co-writer for indie band, <a href="spotify:artist:5BTe2AqTGoMst2vHQrH4y1" data-name="Modern Rivals">Modern Rivals</a>, Alex has shared the stage with bands such as Ra Ra Riot, Stars and The Black Keys.
