Bnnyhunna (Benjamin Ankomah) is an award-winning Dutch/Ghanaian artist who grew up in South East Amsterdam. Facing early challenges, he found solace in music, learning piano, drums, and guitar in church. Shaped by a diverse musical upbringing and icons like Fela Kuti, Yusef Dayes, Kendrick Lamar, Bnny developed a distinctive sound. After leaving high school, he pursued music full-time, collaborating with artists such as RIMON, Asake and Jose James, taking on roles in writing, producing, and performing. His fusion of jazz, hip hop, R&B, and afro—rooted in his West-African background—has earned him recognition as a rising star.
