Bobby Kid is a folk rock band out of Jacksonville, FL. It's made up of Anna Lester (vocals and guitar), Brian Lester (drums), Phillip Hess (lead guitar), Daniel Hubert Jr. (bass), and Caleb Hollan (piano).
Their static drenched chords and earnest lyrics started filling living rooms and backyards at house shows across the state in 2017. Over the years, they've opened for Horse Jumper of Love, Hovvdy, Florist, Indigo de Souza and Alex G.
The band's sophomore full length album, Babyface, was released on April 7th, 2023. It's a tasteful blend of indie rock with melancholic country touches. Anna's lyricism tells a story filled with growing pains and self discovery- from moving away from home for the first time, to body dysmorphia, to the grief of losing a loved one.
