I'm a son of the soil. Enugu State, Nigeria, where I learned that the deepest things are the hardest to say out loud.
So I started singing them instead. Secondary school, me and my friends, turning what we lived into melody. I never stopped. Somewhere along the way I realised the songs weren't really mine...they belonged to whoever needed them.
I make the kind of music you dedicate to someone. The song you send at midnight instead of the text you've rewritten five times. The one that says I see you, I miss you, I'm sorry, I'm still here... when your own words won't come. I write about love, growth, longing, regret, the truth in between. English when it fits, pidgin when English is too polite for what the heart means.

Every song is something I lived. The love I found. The love I walked away from to become better. The nights it cost me.
If one of my songs ever said what you couldn't ... then you already know me.
Love is the language. I'm just speaking it.
