Bongi Mvuyana is a South African singer, songwriter, and performer whose music is rooted in storytelling, emotional depth, and a South African sonic palette with a global influence. Since 2009, her work moves fluidly between Dance Music and Alternative Soul, shaped by her curious artistry and collaboration.
As a solo artist, she has released two acclaimed alternative soul albums, earning praise from music reviewers for their lyrical honesty, compositional depth, and vocal expression. Her albums feature collaborations with artists such as Tiago Correia-Paulo and Pedro Da Silva Pinto (of 340ml fame), 37MPH, Zwai Bala among others.
In parallel with her solo work, she has built a body of work in dance music in collaboration with producers such as Bun Xapa, Cee ElAssaad, Da Capo, Karyendasoul, NAAK, Ralf GUM and many others, reflecting her openness to creative exchange across genres and sub-genres.
