Bongi Mvuyana is a South African singer, songwriter and performer who fuses soul, jazz and folk music to deliver a fresh, alternative soul sound to the discerning music lover. She presents a unique sound expression and experience - a fusion of sound that merges her captivating storytelling, South African sonic tapestry and music influences from around the world. With roots in performance poetry, which lends depth and a kaleidoscope of themes to her music, her catalogue includes two Alternative Soul albums, and many house collaborations with acclaimed global producers, showcasing her versatility & musical prowess.

In 2019, Bongi Mvuyana featured as singer and songwriter on acclaimed international DJ and producer, Ralf GUM's single, "Used To Be" which attracted a fanbase of house lovers and producers who have collaborated with her since. "Used To Be" has received favourable reviews from house music greats, DJ Christos and Vinny Da Vinci, as well as veteran house vocalist, Monique Bingham, naming it her song for 2019, and citing Bongi Mvuyana as "one of the most original singers I've heard in ages", in her interview with Big Shot Magazine in January 2020.

In 2024, she released her sophomore album, marking her evolution as an independent artist, creator & vocalist.Blending her sound with Jazz, Folk and Gospel influences, Bongi delivers a world-class album created with exceptional talents and award-winning collaborators.
