Shona , real name Tichaona Ponde is a producer/DJ/Songwriter and vocalist originally from Zimbabwe who pays homage to his tribe “the Shona people” with his alias. Known for his profound progressions and unique melodies & with over 13 years making music have cemented his production style and sound, Shona now runs his own label with his partner and close friend Thato DJ FRESH (SA) Sikwane called Domboshaba Records. He’s also one half of their duo “Domboshaba”. His catalog among other things tells his story and achievements in the Afro scene . Definitely a rare breed of artist & musician, his soul , African and melodic oriented music sets him apart from other musicians.
