Since forming in late 2012, Bootleg Rascal have dropped a string of singles, two EPs, and three albums, earning global acclaim from fans and critics alike. Their music has been championed by Spotify, Apple Music, MTV, Rage, NME, The Line of Best Fit, Clash Magazine, and Rolling Stone, with multiple tracks hitting high rotation on triple j and appeared on the station’s renowned Like a Version segment.
The duo has toured the world, selling out headline shows across France, the UK, Netherlands, Germany, USA, New Zealand, and Australia, while gracing the stages of Australian festivals including Falls Festival, Caloundra Music Festival, The Plot, Lime Cordiale’s The Squeeze, Day on the Lawn, Blues on Broadbeach, The Big Pineapple Festival, Lost Paradise, The Hills Are Alive, Festival of the Sun, and Party in the Paddock.
In 2025, they took their self-curated event, BOOTY BLOCK PARTY, national with shows in Perth, Darwin, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, and Sydney, joined by artists such as Danté Knows, Dear Sunday, and Dizzy Days. They also performed at Tracks Party Tour, Salty Hops Festival alongside Cosmos Midnight and Rum Jungle, and Winter Wine Festival with Xavier Rudd and The Beautiful Girls.
Their single ‘Crying For The Weekend’ is out now.
