I hope to give you a little bit of the solitude and bliss I feel when creating, mixing, producing. Sometimes I get so lost in it that I forget about the outside world. That is an amazing feeling, that's what I'm chasing. In this day and age we are all so connected, so online, so tuned in.. But to what?
Music for me is a place to disconnect from this world, and re-connect to something bigger. I don't understand it, I just know how it makes me feel.
My first memory of being truly mesmerised by music was hearing 'Maggot Brain' by <a href="spotify:artist:450o9jw6AtiQlQkHCdH6Ru" data-name="Funkadelic">Funkadelic</a> for the first time, and 'Dark Side of The Moon' by <a href="spotify:artist:0k17h0D3J5VfsdmQ1iZtE9" data-name="Pink Floyd">Pink Floyd</a>. It's like these artists had created a time and a place that is eternal and open for business. It doesn't matter who you are, where your from or what you do.. You can always tap into their creations and be right there with them. It's like time travelling.
