Volleyball create psych music that sits in a dreamy haze between catchy and explorative. Driving rhythms punctuate a cascade of ethereal melodies. The band has developed their sound in parallel between the studio and live shows, extending and exploring musical sections with improvisation. They have traded remixes with psychedelic titans; Morgan Delt and The Holydrug couple, had their cover of Bowie’s ‘Moonage daydream’ on the official anniversary compilation, toured with many prominent psych bands in the UK and secured international radioplay from BBC R1 to KEXP.
