<a href="spotify:artist:3oWGQhQ0FqlwJWwguF7asT" data-name="Cale Hawkins">Cale Hawkins</a> worked behind the scenes for years, writing, producing, and backing artists like <a href="spotify:artist:25uiPmTg16RbhZWAqwLBy5" data-name="Charli xcx">Charli xcx</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2kQnsbKnIiMahOetwlfcaS" data-name="Raveena">Raveena</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0tbeZu9lv8YEKSQ9tZSslu" data-name="Amber Mark">Amber Mark</a> before emerging with his debut LP "I Broke My Shoulders" in 2023 (Switch Hit Records).
After features on NPR's "All Songs Considered" and "New Music Friday," Hawkins released his sophomore LP, "A River of Teeth." He also currently writes and produces music with <a href="spotify:artist:5iDcZ7vN17Cq55AbEqy0aC" data-name="Arthur Moon">Arthur Moon</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3BAw5djzZW90BLlWnzf9yv" data-name="Joshua Thew">Joshua Thew</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7aEP0AzwgG0Bs0Bw7I2sqI" data-name="Garth.">Garth.</a>, and more.
Hawkins has performed in four NPR Tiny Desk concerts (Raveena, Arthur Moon, <a href="spotify:artist:0HthCchcL0kVLHTr113Vk1" data-name="mxmtoon">mxmtoon</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0tbeZu9lv8YEKSQ9tZSslu" data-name="Amber Mark">Amber Mark</a>) and joined <a href="spotify:artist:25uiPmTg16RbhZWAqwLBy5" data-name="Charli xcx">Charli xcx</a> on SNL in 2022.
Hawkins is originally from Bemus Point, NY (population: 364). After testing out of many of his classes at Berklee College of Music and graduating at age 19, he moved to Brooklyn, NY with a few hundred dollars in his bank account until he landed a gig touring as a pianist and musical director with Quincy Jones and Nikki Yanofsky. In 2017, Hawkins wrote several songs with Raveena that achieved worldwide popularity and led to appearances at Coachella, Primavera Sound, and Lollapalooza. Since then, Hawkins has primarily worked as a writer and producer for other artists while growing his solo project.
