Camarosmith formed in Seattle in 2002 after joking around about getting mullets, driving Z28s and jamming on Black Sabbath. Following the split-up of Zeke, drummer Don E. Paycheck and bassist Jeff "Sweet Potato Jackson" Matz turned their hesher dreams into a reality with Chris "Muscles" Johnsen and Pat Brown on guitar and Ben "Devil" Rew on harmonica and vocals. The band, while rapidly becoming known for their intense live shows, quickly went into the studio with producer Jack Endino to create a debut full of heavy riffs, stoner vibes worthy of the Queens of the Stone Age and the dense grinds of Soundgarden. Wasting no time, the record was released on Endino's Dead Teenager Records in May of 2003. ~ Charles Spano, Rovi
