Music collective fuelled by groove rhythms, Latin culture, jazz funk, rock ‘n’ roll grit and good coffee.
Prior to cooking up a soulful, cross-genre storm in Cargo Mas, these musicians have most certainly made their mark, having collaborated with artists such as Zap Mama, Lianne La Havas, Gabriel Rios and Guru's Jazzmatazz.
Cargo Mas released a first full album in January 2020, featuring eclectic collaborations with trombone legend Fred Wesley (James Brown Horns, Parliament-Funkadelic), bass diva Ida Nielsen (Prince’s NPG and 3rdeyegirl) and renowned trumpeter Mike ‘Maz’ Maher (Maz, Snarky Puppy).
During spring of 2021 they released a new single '5th Avenue' featuring guitar maestro Cory Wong.
