From his real name, Carlos Guillén, Caribombo is a mixture of Colombian and Venezuelan, during his childhood he grew up with the sound of the Gaita de Tambora and all kinds of tropical genres from South America.
When he became a DJ at the age of 22, he brilliantly understood the importance of live music in conveying values, sounds and influences. Thanks to his experiences, he decides to use these traditions and folklore in a Tropical Bass project to sublimate them.
For many years he has been fusing music with Afro-Tropical genres, it is in this way that he has the opportunity to tour America and Europe, developing his talent and increasing his enthusiasm for the music scene.
Caribombo is a meticulous and coherent project where music is taken to a dimension that is still little explored, taking its source in tradition and bringing it to modern music.
