Killabeatmaker is a musical project that blends the traditional sounds of Colombian music with the power and versatility of global electronic music. The project creates a sonic bridge between the ancestral and the contemporary, taking listeners on a vibrant, ritual-like journey.

“Killa,” meaning moon in Quechua, merges instruments like the gaita, tambora, alegre, cuatro llanero, and traditional vocals with electronic beats, synths, effects, vocal improvisation, and beatboxing—crafting an energetic and immersive live performance.

This year, the band is releasing their new album Wayra, which will take them on tour across Europe, Central Asia, and Canada during the summer.

On stage, Killabeatmaker is a trio made up of Hilder Brando Osorno (production, beats, vocals, and effects), Guadalupe Giraldo (gaita, tambora, and lead vocals), and Julián Ramírez (traditional percussion and backing vocals).
