His first major set was in "EsParadis" in Ibiza. After he began establishing himself as a major young talent. He got a weekly show on "Freek FM" which along side his DJ set around London meant that when Club promoters such as Sun City etc began he was a natural choice for residencies. Around 1997 Carl turned his attention to production; notable early releases include Let Me Tell You, which became an anthem in the UK Garage scene. Later he had successes with release on a record label he set up Middlerow with Booom! Tune - Bling! Ting teaming up with artists DJ Luck, MC Neat, Shy Cookie and RTZ. As for remixes it is here that Carl H has caused the most hype for himself. The list speaks for itself, Destiny's Child, Gorillaz, Beenie Man, Damage, Shola Ama, Gabrielle, Beverly Knight, Gwen Stefanni, Nelly Furtardo, to name just a few.
