CCTV is the solo project of Naarm/Melbourne based singer-songwriter and guitarist Courtney Constantinou, best known as the frontwoman of garage-psych rock band Goldminds.
Launched in January 2024, CCTV is a moody, brooding, alt rock ‘n’ roll vessel - a sonic summoning of Courtney’s deepest inspirations and intuitions. Guided by the natural world and a restless curiosity of the heart, CCTV channels echoes of past lives, dreams, and raw emotion into music that’s both nostalgic and untethered.
Since its formation, CCTV has become a fixture in Melbourne’s local live music scene, gracing the stages of beloved venues such as The Old Bar, Lulie Tavern, Brunswick Artists Bar, The Gem, Tramway Hotel, Merri Creek Tavern, and Sonics Gallery.
Now, CCTV is set to unveil her debut single “Runaway” ~ a bold and atmospheric track that captures the essence of escapism, desire, and emotional reckoning. Co-produced by Brendan West (Goldminds, Al Matcott), “Runaway” marks the first taste of CCTV’s forthcoming debut album.
To celebrate the release, CCTV will perform live across a run of intimate shows in Naarm/Melbourne:
• Aug 15 – Gum Bar, Collingwood
• Aug 30 – Railyard, Tecoma
• Sept 6 – Merri Creek Tavern, Northcote
With live performances described as ethereal and alluring, CCTV is a project driven by instinct and spirit. An emerging artist to keep firmly on your radar.
xoxo
