Whilst Dos Santos spent her life in four different countries over three years, her debut project ‘Cleo’ EP took shape ending up functioning as a diary for the Brazilian-Norwegian composer, producer and vocalist. The story of womanhood, falling in and out of love, betrayal, self realization and the passion for uplifting female musicians of color are all ideologies behind the restless musician’s 9 track EP.

Charlottes debut LP Morfo was released October 2022. Written from spring 2020 into 2021 when her planned US tour was cancelled, she propelled into a cocoon of writing and rewriting allowing the project to morph from one thing into another as she herself evolved. “MORFO is a sonic tale about transformation, about love and pain. It's a playful journey through my deepest inner thoughts combined with elements of music I admire, such as Soul, R&B, Funk, Samba and Classical. I am a child of the world, born in two cultures, on this album I am digging deeper into my ancestral roots and into my consciousness.”

Collaborators are Josh Crocker (Kali Uchis, Celeste) and his Ivor Novello-nominated Gotts Street Park bandmate Tom Henry (Mabel, Rosie Lowe) to share her most personal, exposing work to date.
The Norwegian Grammy Award winner has received recognition from Pitchfork, Bandcamp, The Cut, The Fader, The Guardian, Clash Magazine, New Wave Magazine, Vogue, Wonderland, The Vinyl Factory, BBC1, a COLORS session and been revered by Outkasts Big Boi, Questlove og Raphael Saadiq.
