Charlotte Martin is an American Singer Songwriter, Composer, Music Producer, Pianist and sought after Voice Teacher/Vocal Coach. After studying opera 17 years and graduating with a bachelors degree in opera performance, Martin had her closest friend commit suicide in college which led to her writing her first song in piano and eventually moving to Los Angeles to sign with major labels RCA records, Universal/Fontana, Dreamworks publishing and Bongload Records. Charlotte has had her music featured regularly on film and hit tv shows like So You Think You Can Dance and writes music specifically for dancers. After clocking over 3000 shows as a solo artist, Charlotte started writing a book on how to sing which led to her opening a music school. Charlotte now runs her music school
SLA Music School and SLA Records (Support Living Artists) from California and works with artists, singers and musicians around the world in 14 countries and counting. Her 19th album “behemoth” due on 2025-2026 will feature songs written with her songwriting students. Charlotte has developed a new singing method which will be launched in her singing book “The Multi Leveled Singer” next year with a songwriting method and piano method to follow. Charlotte is currently co-writing and producing other music artists/bands, teaching and touring to promote her own music. She is an active voice speaking out against AI in music and composition, urging fans to support living artists.
