Chatrooms is an indie rock/alternative band from the San Fernando Valley. Made up of all Latino members, we have been playing together since 2009 transitioning our sound from Post-hardcore and Screamo influences when we were formerly known as the band At Our Expense. As we grew with experience from touring and continuous writing we developed a modern indie pop sound mixed in with the echos of our post hardcore past. We released our first self recorded EP “Home Movies” in 2017. Shortly after in 2018-2019 we released our EP “Fall ’89” and a few singles including “It’s Alright and ”Shorting Out”. Recorded and produced by Mike Pepe. Our latest single “Palm Reader” was recorded/produced by Frankie Siragusa. This has been our last recorded single due to the COVID-19 pandemic slowing our process down but thanks to the vaccine we’re back on the grid and working on new music!
