Singing with an enigmatic allure, CHILLEMI’s style paints with broad strokes of cinematic themes. The solo project of Brian Chillemi (Rose Cologne, Junk Boys), his sophomore album 'Vacant Cowboy' was released November 17th, 2023 on Taxi Gauche Records.

In a scarcely furnished East Hollywood studio apartment, CHILLEMI, wrote and recorded the sketches of 'Vacant Cowboy' with a few microphones and a laptop. “We all went through a lot the last few years and lost human connections due to the extreme strains of isolation. I hope this record reflects that.” Each song is a moment, a feeling and an experience in the stages of loss, grief and hurt. With song titles like “Shadow of Doubt”, “Memories” and “Heartache is a Friend” the theme is clear.

CHILLEMI has had his music featured in various television series on HBO and Showtime along with advertising campaigns and placement on H&M’s global playlist summer 2022.
