CLIENTS is one of the most ferocious and exciting acts from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Inspired by such bands as Anaal Nathrakh and Behemoth, the Blackened Metal ensemble quickly gained the attention from the Danish Metal scene, having several singles entering Spotify’s own top-playlists before releasing their debut album ‘A Callous Heart Rejects’ in march 2020.
Since releasing their debut album the young Copenhageners have been trying to make a name for themselves as a highly energetic, intense and ‘in your face’ live act, supporting some of Denmarks biggest acts such as Hexis, LLNN, Cabal and Møl etc.
In late autumn 2020 CLIENTS teamed up with critically acclaimed producer Lasse Lammert (Abigail Williams) who mixed and mastered the band’s 2021-single ‘Into The Great Unknown’, unveiling a slight change in the band’s sound, moving towards a darker, more blackened expression. Vocalist, Nick Demant, elaborates:
“The change in our sound is simply a natural progression. Whereas ‘A Callous Heart Rejects’ revolved around the many faces of rejection, these new singles revolve around parting ways. Thematically they embark the listener on a long and deeply personal journey of mine, having dealt with and suffering from anxiety and all that follows with it. It’s about the feeling of dissolving right in front of yourself, not knowing who and what you are.”
