Cold Desires is an East-London based duo consisting of Elina Lin and Joe Falconer. Born out of mutual need to reconnect with music and creativity post pandemic, the pair started writing together after a late night conversation at a house party. They discovered they shared a vision and similar influences and began to work collaboratively on the music and lyrics that would go on to form a new project.
Cold Desires soon became an essential creative outlet for both Lin and Falconer in their downtime between touring, Lin as a touring member for Courteeners and Falconer as member of Circa Waves. After two years of writing they made the decision to start to share the music with other people. This led to the pair recording two singles with producer Matt Glasbey and formally launching the project in November of 2024 with the help of help of record label, Lovely People. In conjunction with this the pair began to play live shows with other close friends and members of the London music scene at the beginning of 2024.
