CONA is an Indie Pop/Alternative band from rural Robinson, Illinois and now based out of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Started by two friends who met in jazz band, they formed in the summer of 2017, their name coming from a mix of the founder’s first two letters of their names - Carson Brown and Noah Tennison. Joining them is Carson's younger brother, Peyton Brown on the bass. Fueled by fun, guitar-driven melodies and a fresh new sound this young band has a very bright future ahead of them.
In their short amount of time as a band they’ve already managed to be booked and play shows such as the Blues at the Crossroads Festival, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Canopy Club in Champaign, Illinois, and many other venues across Indiana and Illinois.
They’ve recently completed the recording and mixing of their currently untitled debut EP, in Nashville, Tennessee at the renowned Bombshelter Studios, with the help of producers Drew Carroll and Andrija Tokic, who is Certified-Platinum for his work on Alabama Shake’s “Boys & Girls” LP.
CONA’s debut EP is slated for a release later this year.
