Crackling Leaves is a versatile rock band composed of young musicians. Since their formation in 2022, they’ve been writing their own songs, playing as many live shows as possible, and recording their debut EP. The band's lyrics convey messages of resistance, self-discovery, and courage. Their subjects include dealing with societal standards, seeking a sense of purpose, and no longer conforming to overpowerment. With Summerjay on vocals, Jasmijn on guitar and second vocals, Alejandro on guitar, Lune on bass and Merijn on drums they will continue to make music, experimenting with elements of different genres, and playing for an audience, as they leave their mark on the music scene.
