Crash Island is a London-based indie rock band started in 2011. Over the years the band members' diverse backgrounds and influences shaped a dreamy sound with a punk heart, described as "dark tropical." In 2013 Crash Island worked with Gordon Raphael on their debut EP Strange Shores. And both their 2014 follow up, Stormy Nights, and dreamier 2016 release, Dreamwaves, were mixed by Daniel Rejmer. In 2017 the band took time off from playing live to focus on other projects, and to write their first full-length album In the Distance, due out in 2019.
