CREMATE is a death/thrash metal band from Athens, originally formed in 1991 and revived in 2021 with a new, unique sound.
Blending old-school aggression with modern electronic/synth elements, their music brings raw intensity and dark atmosphere together like few others. The new EP Ready to Fight reimagines early material with fresh arrangements and a sonic identity that defies comparison, rooted in the '90s but unmistakably forward-thinking. Brutal, honest, and heavy.
The EP’s title track, “Ready to Fight,” is a brand new composition — fierce, heavy, and emotionally charged, featuring a guitar solo by Marios Iliopoulos from NIGHTRAGE.
Recording and mixing were handled by Akis Pastras at his personal studio, while mastering was done by George Nerantzis (Abbath, Rotting Christ, Gus G., etc.).
