Cruz Patterson is a multiple award winning hip-hop artist based in Fremantle, WA having already released a string of successful solo singles (including the Tame Impala-produced track Venice) as well as notable collaborations with established artists such as ShockOne, Superego and most notably was the frontman for critically acclaimed group Koi Child, between 2014-2018. During his tenure with Koi Child, Cruz toured Australia prolifically including tours in support of Tame Impala & Fat Freddy’s Drop, sold out headline tours, national festivals such as Laneway, international tours including SXSW in Texas and sold out shows in Los Angeles and New York City, was nominated for an ARIA Award for ‘Best Urban Album and received acclaim from Beats 1, Triple J, BBC Radio 1 & more.
