Holly Hardy is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Dorset. She loves animals and nature and hates living in the city. Her main ambition in life is to save all the animals but currently she has only managed to save one.
Holly decided to become a musician when she realised it’s the best job in the world, she did however make this decision when she was twelve years old.
Holly takes inspiration from things that exists and things that don't exist, so that should cover everything.
CuckooLander is a project Holly formed without realising it when she woke up one day with a three track EP she wrote in her sleep. Pop star Charli XCX (who Holly was playing bass for on tour) heard Holly’s music, jumped into the air, waved her magic wand, glitter fell from the sky and Holly's life soon changed.
Holly signed to Charli's label Vroom Vroom Recordings and began working with lots of wonderful people. Holly says she has many ideas that live inside her head and she hopes that through music she can finally evict them and rent out the extra space to more intellectual things like politics and mind bending science.
When you ask Holly to describe her own music she thinks for a while, giggles a little, gets a bit angry and then mumbles something, which she adamantly takes back. So we don't know how she would describe it and nor does she.
