DAENS are four musicians from the central Swiss cantons of Uri and Schwyz who have been making music together since 2018. With over 180 concerts played, they’ve made a name for themselves as an electrifying live band, and their songs have received significant radio airplay. They’ve captivated audiences at events such as OpenAir St. Gallen, Heitere Open Air, Gurtenfestival, and Luzern Live – with performances that are memorable for their honesty, energy, and the palpable connection with the crowd.
Their sound lies somewhere between indie pop, folk, disco, and funk – open, playful, yet unmistakably DAENS. At the heart of it all is the distinctive voice of lead singer Daniel Beltrametti, effortlessly moving through driving grooves and dreamy soundscapes.
Following their debut EP Misses and several singles, the band took a creative break – a time shaped by personal growth, musical exploration, and a desire to reinvent themselves.
Now, DAENS are back – with fresh music and a sound that rearranges familiar elements while boldly venturing into new stylistic territory.
