It’s not easy to put Nashville-based artist Jon Worthy into a genre box. He’s equal parts rock,
americana and pop. “I'm comfortable with whatever anyone listening to my music wants to call
me,” shares Worthy. “I make the music I want to make so I don't care about genre that much!”
His sound often hits like a fusion of Nirvana and The Lumineers.
Worthy has had over 300 placements during the last 3 years with songs on Netflix (Twenty Something’s), Hulu (Kardashians), USA (Love island), FOX (Billion Dollar Idea), NBC (American Ninja Warrior), Major League Baseball commercials, and more. Worthy toured throughout the Southeast and Northeast in 2022 and 2023 including dates at Musikfest 2022 and 2023, Paris, Valencia, Tel Aviv, Munich, Lisbon, NYC, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati OH, San Diego CA, Jackson MS, Louisville KY, and more! 2025 saw Worthy expand in to Mexico, Chile, and Argentina where a music video was filmed in the mountains of Salta!
Worthy released his 4th album in 2024 titled Barely Here. Accompanying the release of Barely Here was the first ever vinyl release from JW which is available now. 2026 will see Worthy perform in Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Chile, and Argentina with more dates to come!
