Adedamola Ogundipe, professionally known as Damola Davis was born in London but raised in Ibadan, Nigeria, where he spent most of his childhood. This was where his musical journey started and his love for making music was born.
In 2020, Damola Davis released "Vacationship", which was rated "fire" by 4x Grammy Award winning executive record producer Anthony Kilhoffer (credits- Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, to name a few) on his A&R Live session on Instagram with Music and Entertainment heavyweight Bankuli (Good Music). Damola has gone on to release 3 EPs and a plethora of bangers since then.
Damola Davis’ momentum continued with Afro banger titled “Don Dada” which featured Afro-pop royalty <a href="spotify:artist:6lNEt5LSOQRUFl43OnnHUL" data-name="L.A.X">L.A.X</a> which was well received and amassed thousands of streams on all platforms.
Leading up to the release of his third EP “What If I Kissed You?” released in July 2022, Damola Davis released a hot new single titled “Gbese”, which was widely supported by fans and tastemakers alike, and featured on mainstream radio stations including BBC Radio London, Capital Xtra, BBC 1xtra, to name a few.
