Daniac began writing lyrics at 19 at a time where he was hospitalized regularly for Bipolar Disorder. He would go sleepless for days, bursting with creative energy and clinically losing his mind in the process. His newfound passion gave him direction in life and an outlet for his mental health struggles. He came up with the rap name Daniac to combine his name Darren & Maniac, symbolizing his descent into madness.
In 2014, Daniac put out one of his most successful tracks "Lose My Mind" which detailed the chaotic experiences with Mania and Psychosis. In 2015, he worked with popular underground artist "The Jokerr" on his Collabo album Collective Chaos 2. By 2017, Daniac had put together 3 solid albums and worked with countless notable underground artists. Since 2020, he has been working on his next LP and perfecting his craft.
His style would fit in sub-genres of rap such as "Alternative, Conscious, Hardcore & Horrorcore".
