Daniel Takes A Train are the authentic 80's guitar pop band who famously signed an album deal exactly 30 years after splitting up and gained significant national TV and press exposure in the process. After getting back together with original members in the summer 2018, the band then released their first studio album, Last Ticket To Tango (Rosaville Music), which fused classic indie pop with new wave and 1980’s electro pop influences.
Their most popular release to date, Sleeping With The Enemy, a catchy ska/pop contender for the next Bond theme, has been streamed in excess of 350,000 times and claimed the 2024 FAB Chart best video award, winning them new fans worldwide. Their singles, Be Happy, Sleeping With the Enemy, Dreaming of a Better Day, The Hit Parade, and Year of the Cat have all made the Heritage Chart (UK) top 10. The latest single, Just Like Patsy Cline, got to Number One in November 2025.
