Danny Goo blends pop-punk revival with emotionally driven modern rap, pairing distorted guitars, diaristic lyrics, and Gen-Z fashion sensibility into a sound that feels nostalgic and current. Instinct has become intention—an artist focused on how music sounds, looks, and connects.
On his sophomore EP Butterflies, Danny delivers his most confident pop-punk / emo-rap work yet. Heart-on-sleeve songs about love and loss hit through massive hooks, Auto-Tuned melodicism, and guitar-driven production inspired by early-2000s pop-punk.
After moving from Dallas to Los Angeles with co-creator and producer JoJo Centineo, Danny entered a new chapter, collaborating with producer Kevin Thrasher (Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly, Avril Lavigne). Thrasher’s guitar-forward approach adds urgency and emotional weight.
Butterflies features Lil Lotus, Rich Zahnhiser (The Hippos), and Daniel Wonacott (Finch), reflecting Danny’s genre-blending vision—emo rap, emocore, 2000s pop-punk, classic R&B melody, and modern pop instincts.
Beyond music, Danny created The Goo Down, a live platform spotlighting emerging pop-punk, emo, rap, and alternative artists nationwide. The same emotional honesty drives his records and live shows—raw, inclusive, and built for connection.
With momentum building and his sound aligned, Danny Goo isn’t chasing a moment—he’s creating one.
