Born DaQuashia Strahan in 1998 and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, she grew up surrounded by the love of her family and singing in church choirs. DaQuashia always wrote her own music and worked on her own sounds with fellow colleagues while attending Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2020, the artist released her hit single, “Unconditional Love.” She posted a viral Twitter clip of the song being critiqued by a Grammy-Nominated producer.
