Darkua is a Ghanaian-Nigerian artist whose music is a heartfelt fusion of AfroSoul and R&B. Born Naa Darkua Chinonye Wristberg, she grew up immersed in the rich musical traditions of West Africa, with her parents introducing her to legends like A.B. Crentsil, E.T. Mensah, Lagbaja, K.K. Fosu, and Weird MC. This early exposure ignited her passion for music, leading her to begin crafting her unique sound from the tender age of four.

In 2021, Darkua made a striking entrance into the Ghanaian music scene with her debut single, "Amalelor," which quickly became a fan favorite and received extensive airplay across national FM stations. She followed up with "Go Low," accompanied by captivating visuals that showcased her artistic versatility.
