David Keenan is an Irish songwriter / storyteller with a body of work that is as diverse as it is captivating. Stretching back to early demos and including an Irish number one record he has been writing and releasing a unique well of music and lyric writing since he was a kid.

He has toured extensively and guested with the likes of: Hozier, David Gray, Counting Crows, Richard Thompson & Rodrigo y Gabriela.

In 2025 he composed the soundtrack to the Lionsgate film ‘Salvable’ while the bilingual documentary ‘Words on Canvas’ about his life and process screened at film festivals around the world.

Following on from the critically acclaimed Modern Mythologies he released the spontaneous nine track ‘Just for today’ which was recorded and released in the same day in February 26.
