Anna Mieke’s musical landscape developed from years of collaborations and experimenting, during her time living in both Cork and Dublin. She has also supported artists including Wilco, Anais Mitchell, Lankum + Bonny Light Horseman. Outside of her solo material, Anna Mieke played cello with HEX, a Cork-based improvisatory group, and developed her vocals as one-third of the singing group, Rufous Nightjar, both of which allowed her to further explore sound manipulation, improvisation and complex harmonic arrangements.
