Ye Vagabonds are brothers Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn. Their music is defined by their close harmony singing, a sound influenced by the 60s folk revival as well as contemporary folk and Irish traditional music.

They made their debut album Ye Vagabonds in 2017 with Alain Mc Fadden on harmonium, mandolin and banjo, and Nicholas Cooper on violin/viola. They recorded the album live in the Meadow, in Delgany, Co. Wicklow, engineered by Nick Rayner, and released it on their own label, Inglenook Records.

They signed to Rough Trade Records’ folk imprint River Lea in 2019 and released their second and third albums to critical acclaim. The Hare's Lament (2019) is a collection of traditional songs learned from archives, recordings, friends and family. The band received several awards following the album, whilst their third album Nine Waves (2022) introduced a more contemporary approach, mixing older traditional songs with new original compositions.

Now they embark on a new journey, releasing their fourth album All Tied Together in January 2026.
