Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Douglas "Fresh" Bernard—professionally known as D.Burn—is a Samoan R&B/Pop singer, songwriter, and producer who currently resides & is based in Brisbane, Australia.

A co-founder and former member of the R&B groups Element X—best known for their underground island reggae hit "Nesian Girl"—and 4DG (For Da Grind), whose standout tracks include "I See Forever in You" and "Remember" featuring Nesian Mystik, D.Burn has left his mark across the Polynesian music scene.

He is also a touring member of the internationally acclaimed Polynesian Powerhouse collective Te Vaka. His lead vocals on the duet "Tamahana," featured in the film Johnny Lingo alongside Sulata Amiatu-Foa'i, which was written by Opetaia Foa'i became one of Te Vaka’s most recognized and celebrated works to date. Expanding his influence globally, D.Burn has contributed both vocally and percussively to the soundtracks of Disney’s hit animated films with Te Vaka under the leadership of Opetaia Foa'i for Moana and Moana 2, showcasing his deep connection to Polynesian culture on an international stage.
