After two sold out EPs and various club and festival shows, Berlin doom metal masters DEATH CULT 69 finally unveiled their highly anticipated debut album "The Way Of All Flesh" in 2025. Their sound has been described as an unholy bastard of <a href="spotify:artist:0blJzvevdXrp21YeI2vbco" data-name="Type O Negative">Type O Negative</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4htjQW3lgIwL6fEJlTOez4" data-name="Electric Wizard">Electric Wizard</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:00tVTdpEhQQw1bqdu8RCx2" data-name="Blue Öyster Cult">Blue Öyster Cult</a> – morbid, retro, and heavy to the core!
Founded in 2021 as a pandemic project by the two <a href="spotify:artist:2462kIrZ0nXoeuEeeYSKon" data-name="Wisborg">Wisborg</a> members <a href="spotify:artist:6Bqu8hj5MJYp9NYReokn2v" data-name="Konstantin Michaely">Konstantin Michaely</a> (vocals, guitar) and Luc Lacroix (drums), DEATH CULT 69 grew into a four-piece when live shows became possible again. Fern Czar not only complements Michaely's guitar playing with bass, but also counteracts his deep, sonorous clean vocals with guttural screams. Simultaneously, Marie Ko San provides the floating organ overtones that give DEATH CULT 69 their eerie crypt appeal.
