Hailing from Jervis Bay, NSW Australia, Debbies are a two-piece rock band comprised of lifelong best mates Noah Egan and Alex Robertson that formed in January 2019. With a sound that combines those summery slacker vibes with upbeat hard hitting rock melodies, the duo evoke a mesmerising pop rock sound that reflects their easy going and energetic personalities.
2020 did not see the boys slowing down as they continued their success whether it be through their back to back Triple J air premieres for ‘Waking Up in L.A’ and ‘Influencer’ or through the recording of their debut EP which they further released in early 2021 under the title ‘Accidents Happen’. Following this the boys embarked on their first headline tour up the East Coast of Australia showcasing the personalities and likeability of the two through their songwriting which demonstrated their ability to continue to go from strength to strength. The end of 2021 and beginning of 2022 has seen Debbies release their most ambitious singles to date titled ‘Sinner’ and ‘Let You Know’ where they have extended their inspirations to artists globally and have followed a more pop punk sound. The Jervis Bay natives will look at the newest releases this year as a springboard for what will undoubtedly be a huge end of 2022 where they will release their punchiest punk pop track to date ‘meaning of love’ and hope to solidify themselves as a household name through the Australian music scene.
