Frédéric Holyszewski, also known as Dado and <a href="spotify:artist:03XTjXEACRDeNoYO1PGwUW" data-name="Deedrah">Deedrah</a>, was raised in a family of musicians, began studying music at the age of five, finding inspiration in electronic music legends such as Jean Michel Jarre and Depeche Mode. His first musical foray was with the rock band Vision Quest, which disbanded in 1990.
Soon after, he teamed up with Christophe Drouillet (<a href="spotify:artist:2ctKxe2xzmIxsyiCOVxc9I" data-name="Absolum">Absolum</a>) on a French wave and formed the goa trance act <a href="spotify:artist:1XvBR4zy1gyHBJSOJRcTzZ" data-name="Transwave">Transwave</a>. It took the duo just three months to complete their first EP. Over the next two years, they released two albums (Helium and Phototropic) and toured the world, achieving considerable success in the psychedelic trance and scoring an international hit with the track "<a href="spotify:track:7a45Us9977efjB0ErH7Sjh" data-name="Land of Freedom">Land of Freedom</a>".
Following this, Dado released his first solo album in 1997, <a href="spotify:album:09Bunc6MzB33d1SxrhrHTK" data-name="Self Oscillation">Self Oscillation</a>, under the name <a href="spotify:artist:03XTjXEACRDeNoYO1PGwUW" data-name="Deedrah">Deedrah</a>, which became his first divergence from the psychedelic goa trance genre.
In the years that followed, Frédéric would work under a variety of pseudonyms, including Cypher, Dado and <a href="spotify:artist:5fHVDzay8rh0roKmszw8Nd" data-name="Synthetic (FR)">Synthetic (FR)</a>. Future projects include collaborations with trance legends like <a href="spotify:artist:6FPDZzGbAgGNYUZgj0QozQ" data-name="Tsuyoshi Suzuki">Tsuyoshi Suzuki</a> (Tokio Drome), <a href="spotify:artist:40EsdChhIP1ZT9RYOcfUI0" data-name="Astral Projection">Astral Projection</a> (Trust in Trance), <a href="spotify:artist:4XD0QK7S79iTUGcSnB6ZaC" data-name="The Antidote">The Antidote</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0IwhcvXvtrVsegKcnb1Spt" data-name="Dimitri Nakov">Dimitri Nakov</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:6FRa3oacIF7fRegvUGHQOg" data-name="The Good, The Bad & The Ugly">The Good, The Bad & The Ugly</a>), and most recently <a href="spotify:artist:5av2hVO2IklrDkvi484xk0" data-name="Shanti Matkin">Shanti Matkin</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:118fvIwzCqFuOP3hxudKKb" data-name="Shanti V Deedrah">Shanti V Deedrah</a>), who has taken him on tours around the world playing with his various projects.
