At the age of fifteen, Konstantinos Psaras, also known as <a href="spotify:artist:3k6WtSml3aARRUNPOe4TVp" data-name="Dino Psaras">Dino Psaras</a>, first got his start as a DJ at underground acid house parties. In the early 90s, he began DJing at hardcore techno parties alongside big names such as Tony Humphries, Adamski and Carl Cox. During this time, he was also a resident at Baba G's (Massive Attack) club in Bristol and a regular DJ at DIY and Tonka parties. He was subsequently named one of the 20 most promising house DJs in the world in a poll organised by MixMag.
The following year, Dino travelled to India, where he discovered psychedelic goa trance, which changed his musical direction. While working as a DJ for Dragonfly, Dino also met other talented artists such as Man With No Name, Juno Reactor and Simon Posford, and decided not only to play music, but to create it.
Participating in five different projects, such as Phreaky, <a href="spotify:artist:40Iem5SUERTYhua95rcDyT" data-name="Krome Angels">Krome Angels</a> (w/ <a href="spotify:artist:118fvIwzCqFuOP3hxudKKb" data-name="Shanti V Deedrah">Shanti V Deedrah</a>), Cydonia, Bullet Proof and Ayahuasca, Dino managed to create his own style of trance under the pseudonyms <a href="spotify:artist:4wiA3WLTzPIPfN7Axh0QX9" data-name="Tortured Brain">Tortured Brain</a> and Dino Psaras himself. As a member of the Ayahuasca project (w/ <a href="spotify:artist:1DNW3o2lZhRQNcDYHXa9xx" data-name="Joti Sidhu">Joti Sidhu</a> and Steve Ronan), he remixed "Rise", the first release of <a href="spotify:artist:5MO2kbaGGA2a8kL4c9qqHq" data-name="Paul Oakenfold">Paul Oakenfold</a> for his Perfecto Fluoro record label.
It wasn’t long before "Dean" was recognised as one of the best DJs in the psytrance scene. Since 1994, Dino has played at major events such as Burning Man and Love Parade, and also at numerous venues around the world, as well as performing regularly in his hometown of Brighton.
