Definition formed on the 17th of September 2023. The band features James Connolly, on guitar and vocals. Ryan McIlravie, on guitar and backing vocals And Max Buist on the drums. Definition has played many gigs in Fife, Scotland including silverburn festival. The members of definition are inspired by a variety of music with Ryan and Max favouring more heavy rock music such as <a href="spotify:artist:711MCceyCBcFnzjGY4Q7Un" data-name="AC/DC">AC/DC</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7jy3rLJdDQY21OgRLCZ9sD" data-name="Foo Fighters">Foo Fighters</a> and James taking his inspiration from <a href="spotify:artist:2DaxqgrOhkeH0fpeiQq2f4" data-name="Oasis">Oasis</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3WrFJ7ztbogyGnTHbHJFl2" data-name="The Beatles">The Beatles</a> this brings a diversity to the band that creates their sound.
