The duo of Starleana Young and <a href="spotify:artist:5CIZOoBWVcIJGSgGrN0hmW">Curt Jones</a> had formerly been members of <a href="spotify:artist:5mtKpqeeaFavW15yIX4h5e">Slave</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6f34Vi3DFJap7eJMDbpzEG">Aurra</a>, and originally were called Symphonic Express. They just missed a number one R&B hit in 1987 as "You and Me Tonight" peaked at number two, one of two Déjà singles issued by Virgin that made the charts. The other was "That's Where You'll Find Me, " which was a Top 20 R&B hit in 1988, their last. Their full-length releases included 1987's Serious, 1989's Made to Be Together, and 1997's I Like It (Like That).~ Ron Wynn
